Who We Are
Home Settlement Centre, LLC is dedicated to providing the absolute best title insurance and settlement services in the United States. Our staff has over 100 years of legal, real estate and title settlement experience with some of the largest law firms and title companies in the country. That experience has allowed us to identify and employ the practices necessary to ensure that borrowers and their families receive a fast, effective and successful settlement of their new loans, while ensuring that the investment they make in their home will be fully protected from all potential claims against their property.
Through our experience, we have seen the issues that borrowers can face when dealing with title companies that see themselves as being in a production business, where they measure their success by the number of loans they settle. That approach inevitably leads to placing the title company’s interests above those of their customers. At HSC, we consider ourselves to be in a customer service business, where we measure our success by the level of satisfaction that our customers experience throughout the settlement process and, finally, when they the get up from the settlement table with a new home or a new loan on that home. Our approach requires us to devote the time and effort necessary to ensure that our customer’s interests are the sole consideration as we do our work.

Eric Brindley
President
I have been working in the title industry for over 20 years. To me, a home is so much more than a house. A home is where those you love live. That’s why I find my job so rewarding. Buying a house can be scary, so it is our job to protect our clients’ investment from risk. We also want them to enjoy their homebuying experience, whether it’s their first home or their 10th!
I love working with first time home buyers and investors, which are opposite ends of the spectrum, but equally important to me. However, first time home buyers have a special place in my heart, as I love to educate them on what is most likely their first biggest financial purchase.
In my spare time my wife and I enjoy being involved in YoungLife. I enjoy reading, and wood working.
My greatest accomplishment is realizing that my life is not about me, it’s about others. I want to help people be better versions of themselves.

I have been working in the title industry for over 25 years. Working at Home Settlement Centre has given me the opportunity to learn something new every day. To me, each client’s situation is like a puzzle that I must solve with the same end goal of getting into the home of their dreams. I love making each closing smooth, efficient and hassle free. The best compliment I can receive is “that was easy!”
Professionally, I am most proud of the work I have put into being one of the best at understanding title and giving my clients the very best service possible. The other big accomplishment I am proud of is earning a board member seat as Director at Large for the Maryland Land Title Association. I chaired committees, events, and taught education classes, which finally lead to a board position. Sitting across the board room table with my mentors finally as their peer is my most cherished accomplishment professionally. I am very proud of my professional reputation. I am licensed in DC, MD, and VA. We work with everyone from first time homebuyers to a family buying their 5th home. Having a great partnership with local real estate agents and loan officers is what makes us successful here at HSC.
To me, home is a safe, warm place to spend time with your loved ones, and the dream of homeownership is something we get to help people achieve every day. When I am not helping clients, I am spending time with my daughter, gardening, socializing with friends, taking long walks on the canal, and taking care of my cats. I support Children’s Hospital because my daughter was a preemie born at 32 weeks. We had many visits with Children’s Hospital in DC and they have always been wonderful with us.

I have been working in the title industry for over 29 years. One of my greatest personal and professional accomplishments, is that I have worked for the same title company for over 15 years. Working at Home Settlement Centre has given me the opportunity to learn something new every day.
Getting the transaction to the table for a smooth settlement is the most rewarding part of the job! I take great pleasure to help clients meet their homeownership dreams. To me, being a homeowner means having a safe and warm place to relax.
When I’m not working or helping clients I am involved in many charities. A few that are very important to me are: American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, and any pet charities (I have fur babies). I also enjoy watching movies and TV shows and going to craft shows and wine and beer festivals.
